cute values

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment — help create a safe space and get in touch with us.

„Wir wollen Orte schaffen, die sich darum bemühen, so sicher wie möglich zu sein – auch im Wissen darum, dass Sicherheit in unserer Gesellschaft nie absolut sein kann. Unsere Räume sollen zum Innehalten, Genießen und Dasein einladen, frei von Angst vor Übergriffen, Ausgrenzung oder Herabwürdigung. Wie wir dies ermöglichen wollen, erklären wir hier.“

Awareness Concept

Our awareness concept describes how the principles of the Code of Conduct are implemented in practice, for example, at events. It regulates procedures, responsibilities, and measures for dealing with incidents and ensures that those affected receive support on-site. At cute concerts, in collaboration with Astrid Plank and Lara Kofler, there is a specific awareness concept for each venue.

There are awareness officers, and at some concerts, awareness teams are also present on-site. There are contact persons for crisis situations, and responsibilities are clearly defined. We don't just react, but focus on preventative strategies. For us, awareness means: raising awareness, listening, and intervening—always with a focus on those affected and on discrimination-sensitive practices.

We continuously develop our awareness concept in dialogue with those affected, activists, experts, and communities. Our goal is to enable structural change through a lived culture of listening, learning, and action. Feminist spaces are spaces in motion, and we are walking this path together.

Code of Conduct

Every space, whether in nightlife, at events, or in a work context, has the potential to be experienced as empowering and as safe as possible. This requires not only good intentions, but also binding commitments, awareness, lived responsibility, and a shared understanding of power relations and dynamics. We understand safety and respectful interaction not as a static state, but as a collective practice that demands continuous reflection, a culture of learning from mistakes, the courage to change, and structural clarity.

We want to create spaces that strive to be as safe as possible. Therefore, in this Code of Conduct, we aim to establish fundamental principles of conduct to ensure the protection of individuals and their freedom of action on a confidential level. With this Code of Conduct, we create transparency regarding the attitudes, processes, and responsibilities that apply to us – so that everyone involved knows what they can rely on. It applies to everyone who works for, with, and on behalf of cute concerts, and wherever we operate.

Internal reflection is essential for us. We not only create external structures, but also question our own privileges, conditioning, and biases. For us, non-discriminatory practice means taking responsibility: as individuals, in teams, in organizations, and in the design of our spaces.

We take a clear stance:

Against victim-blaming, sexualized violence, racism, antisemitism, anti-Muslim racism, ableism, queerphobia, transphobia, classism, and all forms of discrimination. We stand for feminist solidarity, a culture of learning from mistakes, collective learning processes, and spaces where contradictions and uncertainties are welcome, as long as they don't come at the expense of others.

Should you nevertheless have a negative experience at our concerts: We're here to listen, we'll treat all information confidentially, and we can refer you to organizations that can provide long-term support or assistance. Please also get in touch if you observe anything or have any general feedback. This helps us further develop our awareness concept and is generally a great initiative!
